Given Kemper County's advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Enterprise is ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Enterprise still got an impressive performance from Makayla Sullivan, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Kemper County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Enterprise, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Kemper County will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Lauderdale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Lauderdale is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Enterprise, they will head out on the road to take on McLaurin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McLaurin has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28.
