The Adair Warriors entered their tilt with the Bristow Pirates with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Adair walked away with a 52-44 win over Bristow on Friday.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Abby Morgan, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. Morgan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Ava Yocham was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Adair has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Bristow, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Adair won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Oktaha on January 20th. Oktaha will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. As for Bristow, Bristow and Ripley will face off on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Ripley is ranked 107th, while Bristow is ranked 113th).
