Weston Taylor Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Cambridge got the W thanks in part to Weston Taylor playing the best football he has all season. Taylor threw for 348 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.5 yards per attempt.
The win for Cambridge keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Taylor and Cambridge are taking a road trip to take on Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Cambridge got the W thanks in part to Hudson Cocchiara playing the best football he has all season. Cocchiara picked up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 68 yards.
On the year, Cocchiara has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 92 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 10.43 receiving yards per game.

Blalock Made His Presence Known in Cambridge's 42-36 Win
Cambridge picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Tyler Blalock. Blalock was dynamite, rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Blalock could be in store for another big game when he takes on Centennial on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Blalock saw the Knights), he rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown.

Brooks Goodman Makes It Two for Blessed Trinity
Keeping Jacobs company is Brooks Goodman, a fellow Blessed Trinity player. He threw for 136 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 passes, and also rushed for 39 yards.
For the season, Goodman has thrown 7 touchdowns while averaging 106 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 12.83 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 23.5 rushing yards.
