On Tuesday, Winters Mill suffered a tough 53-27 defeat at the hands of Mount de Sales Academy. Winters Mill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.
Meanwhile, Westminster was able to grind out a solid win over Francis Scott Key on Friday, taking the game 53-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Westminster.
Winters Mill's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Westminster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Winters Mill came up short against Westminster in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-43. Can Winters Mill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
