 Julia Ward spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in ten consecutive appearances.

 At the plate,  Isabella Mecca was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.  Sammi Kalinak was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  double.
 Gill St. Bernard's  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Voorhees struck out seven times.
As for Voorhees, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record  this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.
 On Voorhees' side,  Charlotte Mosier was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ali Leibensperger, who  went 2-for-4 with two  doubles, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
As of now, neither Gill St. Bernard's nor Voorhees have any future games scheduled.
