Cedar Ridge is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Stony Point is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Raiders will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Cedar Ridge made easy work of Manor and carried off a 17-1 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Quinn Rives was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Caitlin Benningfield was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.
Rives wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Cedar Ridge lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manor didn't launched any home runs.
Meanwhile, Stony Point won against Hutto last Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Manor.
Ria Champaneri tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brianna Moreno, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
Stony Point has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Cedar Ridge hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Stony Point struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Cedar Ridge's way against Stony Point in their previous meeting back in March, as Cedar Ridge made off with a 10-0 victory. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
