Brett Paxton gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Wednesday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Buhl back in March of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Paxton also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Filer is 3-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Paxton and Filer will venture away from home to challenge South Fremont at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
