The Milton-Union Bulldogs will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Troy Christian Eagles at 6:45 p.m. Milton-Union is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.
Milton-Union put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They blew past Brookville 53-31. Given Milton-Union's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 200th, while Brookville is ranked 579th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Jenna Brumbaugh, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Berberich, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Troy Christian strolled past Dayton Christian with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 50-32.
Milton-Union is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. As for Troy Christian, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Milton-Union was able to grind out a solid victory over Troy Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 42-34. Does Milton-Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Troy Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
