It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Anne's-Belfield had no problem doing just that on Friday. They never let Nansemond-Suffolk Academy get on the board and left with a 26-0 victory. Considering St. Anne's-Belfield has won eight contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Jonah Brent, who rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns. He has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last eight times he's played.

St. Anne's-Belfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of AJ Wiltshire and Chase Miller.

St. Anne's-Belfield's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

St. Anne's-Belfield has already played their next matchup, a 54-22 loss against North Cross on the 15th. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
