Gholson's's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Bynum Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Gholson has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, Gholson took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 63-30 victory over Garner.
Gholson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aaron Salinas, who scored 15 points. The match was Salinas' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lane Kunkel, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bynum beat Kopperl 50-44 on Saturday. The win was just what Bynum needed coming off of a 56-36 defeat in their prior game.
Their wins bumped Gholson to 6-2 and Garner to 1-5.
Gholson came up short against Bynum when the teams last played on Thursday, falling 50-41. Can Gholson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
