The Eastern Comets lost against the Rossville Hornets back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Eastern took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rossville. Eastern has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Rossville found their leader in underclassman Brayden Thiele-hahn, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Thiele-hahn is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Jordan Skiles was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Rossville, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
Eastern won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wabash at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Rossville, they will head out on the road to take on Fountain Central at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
