On Friday Hazard will take on Whitley County at 7:30 PM. Hazard will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.
Last Friday, Hazard put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Leslie County and carried off a 41-7 victory. That looming 34-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Hazard yet.
Meanwhile, Whitley County had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the squad lost 20-21 to Letcher County Central. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.
Hazard's win lifted them to 5-3 while Whitley County's loss dropped them down to 3-5. We'll see if Hazard's success rolls on or if Whitley County are able to steal their positive momentum.
