Northeast Guilford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dennis Fountain, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. The game was Fountain's third in a row with at least ten points. Levi Webb was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Southern Guilford put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Rockingham County at home to the tune of 77-45. Considering Southern Guilford has won four games by more than 25 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
The victory got Northeast Guilford back to even at 3-3. As for Southern Guilford, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.
