Jordan Aldape gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Wednesday. He turned in nothing short of a gem, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Kimball's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 4-1 (and 4-14 when he doesn't).

Aldape's effort led Kimball over West and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
