Quincy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khloe Nicholson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Nicholson a new career-high in steals (six). Cameran Byquist was another key player, going 6-for-9 en route to 13 points and five assists.
Quincy's victory bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Edwardsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-10.
Looking ahead, Quincy will challenge Alton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Alton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Quincy likes a good challenge. Edwardsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
