There's no place like home for the Troup Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past West Rusk 62-39. For Troup, this counts as revenge for the 51-43 defeat West Rusk walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
West Rusk lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kimora Pryor, who scored 13 points along with three blocks. Gabby Coleman was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Even though they lost, West Rusk smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. This was only their 16th loss (out of 23 games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Troup's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for West Rusk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-21.
Troup does not have any more games scheduled as of now. West Rusk also has no future games currently scheduled.
