Despite the loss, Barbe still got an impressive performance from Jelandon Gray, who rushed for 168 yards and one score on only 14 carries, and also threw for 208 yards and a pair of touchdowns. A healthy portion of that aerial production (126 yards to be exact) went to Myles Ledoux, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Barbe, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jordin Griffin, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Barbe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Carencro, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
