The Kansas City Christian School Panthers and the McLouth Bulldogs will face off on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Kansas City Christian School suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 54-29 walloping at the hands of Heritage Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Kansas City Christian School can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 481st, while Heritage Christian Academy is ranked 232nd).
Meanwhile, McLouth came up short against Pleasant Ridge on Saturday and fell 44-36.
Kansas City Christian School's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for McLouth, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season.
Kansas City Christian School strolled past McLouth when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a score of 66-48. Will Kansas City Christian School repeat their success, or does McLouth have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
