After flying high against the Temple Baptist Academy Royal Crusaders  last Thursday, South Haven Christian came back down to earth. South Haven Christian was outmatched by Horizon Christian Academy at home  and fell  58-26. South Haven Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  30-10.
 When it comes to explaining why South Haven Christian lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is  Aliya Gagliano. Despite the final result, she  dropped  a double-double on ten points and 12  rebounds. Gagliano is absolutely dominating the  rebound category: she's  posted at least eight every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Josie Gillilan, who  scored five points.
 South Haven Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
 South Haven Christian and West Florida Baptist Academy will face off  at 9:00  p.m.  on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. West Florida Baptist Academy is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
