Seneca Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mina Hashemzadeh led the charge by scoring ten points along with seven assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nia Hall, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Clarksburg came tearing into Friday's game with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 62-33 victory over Quince Orchard on the road.
Seneca Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Clarksburg, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
