St. Clair is 9-1 against Sterling Heights Stevenson since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. St. Clair had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Armada on Wednesday. The Saints were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Saints have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Hayley McFarlane spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
