Tipton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Muncie Central Bearcats an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Tipton, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Muncie Central from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mylee Granson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Tipton now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Muncie Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tipton will welcome Lebanon at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Muncie Central, they will be playing at home against Jay County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
