It was a good run, but The Chisholm Longhorns unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Perry. Chisholm has struggled against Perry recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Perry can attribute much of their success to Whelan Carson, who picked up 190 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jaxson Cunningham also helped out by tossing the rock for 251 yards.
Chisholm's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Perry, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Chisholm will be playing in front of their home fans against Oklahoma Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry, they will head out on the road to face off against Alva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
