Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bushnell-Prairie City). They were the clear victors by a 21-8 margin over the Peoria Heights Patriots on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.
Jayden Johnson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
