The Ramapo Raiders will face off against the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles at TBD on Friday. Ramapo is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Ramapo can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 42-7 victory over Rahway. Given Ramapo's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while Rahway is ranked 170th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Landon De prima continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 95 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 218 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. De prima really tore up the turf during one magnificent 95-yard run. Another player making a difference was Zach Schnorrbusch, who picked up 50 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Morris Knolls fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 17-7 victory over Linden on Saturday. That's two games straight that Morris Knolls has won by exactly ten points.
Ramapo's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 8-1 NV - Old Tappan and 8-1 Somers (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 61.6% over those games). As for Morris Knolls, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
