Buckhorn got themselves on the board against Bob Jones on Saturday, but Bob Jones never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 14-0 margin over the Bob Jones Patriots. For the Bucks, this counts as revenge for the 7-4 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Ruby Camp looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Furthermore, she didn't allow a single earned run, the first time she has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Buckhorn let Andre-Ana Davis and Cheniya Hatcher run wild. Davis went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Hatcher got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI Hatcher has posted since back in February of 2024. Bailey Lamar was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.

Buckhorn hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Buckhorn now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bob Jones, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Buckhorn will face off against Sparkman at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bob Jones, they will square off against Decatur at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
