The Nash Central Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their fifth straight  loss. The  game between them and Bunn wasn't particularly close, with Nash Central falling  64-48. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Nash Central in their matchups with Bunn: they've now lost three in a row.
 Bunn's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jameir Strickland, who  dropped  a double-double on 22 points and 11  rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Strickland has scored at least a third of Bunn's points.  Spencer Riley was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points along with five  rebounds.
 Nash Central has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost eight of their last nine games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record  this season. As for Bunn, their victory  ended a six-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-13.
 Nash Central will  take on Southeast Halifax at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Southeast Halifax has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 491 points over their last seven games. As for Bunn, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Roanoke Rapids at 7:00  p.m. Hopefully Bunn focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 12 on Friday.
