Meanwhile, Oak Hill came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 7-3.
Oak Hill got a big performance out of Bella Foustnight, who scored a run and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jolee Hawkins, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.
Taylor's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Oak Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.
