If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Park Ridge. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next match against Bogota at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Park Ridge have yet to lose; Bogota, on the other hand, are desperate for their first win.
Park Ridge took their matchup against St. Mary two weeks ago by a conclusive 34-0 score. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.
Meanwhile, Bogota have to be hurting after a devastating 12-34 loss at the hands of Wood-Ridge last Saturday.
Park Ridge's victory lifted them to 3-0 while Bogota's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. In their victory, Park Ridge relied heavily on junior Vince Pinto, who rushed for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns. Bogota will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
