Baseball Recap: Carmel Drops Season-High Score on Saint Viator

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carmel). They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Saint Viator Lions on Wednesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Corsairs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Carmel now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Saint Viator, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carmel will head out to face off against Hinsdale South at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Corsairs are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Saint Viator, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
