Baseball Recap: North Olmsted Has No Trouble Against Lorain

North Olmsted won the last time they faced Lorain and things went their way on Thursday too. The Eagles blew past the Titans 11-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Tyler Zatta spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 15 Ks.

On the hitting side, Luke Healan was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Darren Krider was another key player, going 1-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

North Olmsted's record now sits at 4-5. As for Lorain, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Olmsted will challenge Wickliffe at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lorain, they will face off against Shaker Heights at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
