William Gharabekyan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Verdugo Hills, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Gharabekyan also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Georges Abdulnour was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Chavez bumped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Verdugo Hills, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
