Basketball Recap: Biloxi Skates Past Harrison Central with Ease

Biloxi lost to Harrison Central back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Biloxi Indians took their contest with ease, bagging a 74-47 win over the Harrison Central Red Rebels. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Biloxi to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kentrell Beasley, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reggie MaGee, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 12 points.

Biloxi was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harrison Central only racked up seven assists.

Despite the loss, Harrison Central still got an impressive performance from Nehemiah Barnett, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ke'Adrian Brown, who put up four points.

Biloxi pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.7 points. As for Harrison Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Biloxi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 62-50 win against Ocean Springs on the 13th. As for Harrison Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-43 loss against St. Martin on the 13th.
