Having just played yesterday, the General McLane Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds at 1:00 p.m. on February 3rd. General McLane is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
General McLane pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Erie 62-57. General McLane has not had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Meanwhile, Chautauqua Lake's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Clymer Central by a score of 42-39.
General McLane has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Chautauqua Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
General McLane beat the Thunderbirds 84-75 when the teams last played back in December of 2018. Will General McLane repeat their success, or do the Thunderbirds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
