It was a good run, but the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to Carlisle 59-55. Mt. Enterprise has not had much luck with Carlisle recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Mt. Enterprise saw an underclassman step up: Bryce Durrett scored 19 points. That's the first time this season that Durrett scored 15 or more points. Aadin Alsup was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Mt. Enterprise's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Carlisle, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Enterprise will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Summerfield at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
