Basehor-Linwood unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 48-21 loss at the hands of De Soto. The contest was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Basehor-Linwood was blown out by De Soto in the second.
Basehor-Linwood's defeat came about despite a quality game from Brady Vandonge, who threw for 247 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Paola might've scored the first points on Friday, but it was Eudora who claimed the real prize. Paola took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eudora.
