Tallulah Academy won the last time they faced River Oaks and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 9-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.
JT McDaniel and Luke Moberley made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, McDaniel kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Meanwhile, Moberley pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. At bat, McDaniel went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs, while Moberley went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Moberley has posted since back in February of 2024.
