The Julian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Borrego Springs Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Julian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Julian only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 25-point they dealt the Wildcats on Friday. Everything went Julian's way against the Wildcats as the Eagles made off with a 60-35 victory.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 65 points the game before, Borrego Springs were a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 49-24 walloping at the hands of Warner. Borrego Springs was down 41-16 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Julian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Borrego Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.
Julian didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Rams in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 42-37 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Borrego Springs' Brody White, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 25 rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Julian still be able to contain White? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
