After a string of seven wins, the Crestwood Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were dealt a 74-39 loss at the hands of Camden. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Crestwood in their matchups with Camden: they've now lost seven in a row.
Crestwood's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Saniya Williams, who scored 18 points. Williams is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 18 or more in the last eight games she's played. London Vaughn was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Joyce Edwards was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with eight rebounds and six assists for Camden. Edwards is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Zyasia Carter, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Crestwood's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8. As for Camden, their win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2.
Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Camden also has no future games currently scheduled.
