Walnut's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cory Fluker led the charge by dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Daniel Dai was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory (which was Walnut's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Excelsior Charter, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
