The Lazbuddie Longhorns will head out on the road to challenge the Happy Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lazbuddie comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Tuesday, Lazbuddie had to suffer through a rough 69-24 loss at the hands of Springlake-Earth. Lazbuddie was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-14.
Meanwhile, Happy strolled past Kress with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-45.
Lazbuddie's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.8 points per game. As for Happy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season.
Lazbuddie took a serious blow against Happy when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 74-15. Can Lazbuddie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
