Los Alamos has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the St. Michael's Horsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, it was a hard-fought game, but Los Alamos had to settle for a 40-38 defeat against Valencia.
Despite the defeat, Los Alamos got a solid performance out of Niko Garcia, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds. Garcia scored a full 47.4% of Los Alamos' points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Fresquez, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 26-26 at halftime, St. Michael's was not quite Valencia's equal in the second half on Friday. St. Michael's fell 53-40 to Valencia.
