The Northglenn Norsemen's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Vista Ridge, falling 66-36. While losing is never fun, Northglenn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Vista Ridge is ranked 100th).
Vista Ridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brooklyn Kaiser, who scored 17 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Kaiser has scored at least 25% of Vista Ridge's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sole? Alexander, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds.
Northglenn's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Vista Ridge, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Northglenn will head out on the road to face off against Gateway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vista Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
