The Shea Raiders lost against the Moses Brown Quakers back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The match between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Shea falling 52-35. They have not had much luck with Moses Brown recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Moses Brown found their leader in underclassman Lauren Bousquet, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 24 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hannah West, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Shea's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Moses Brown, they pushed their record up to 1-0 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shea will square off against Cranston East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Moses Brown won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sacred Heart Academy at 2:00 p.m. on December 14th.
