The biggest upset of the week belonged to University City, who took down 574th ranked Clairemont, 24-16.
The Centurions extended the longest winning streak in Central this week by beating the Chieftains, 24-16. The victory was the fourth in a row for University City.
Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Michael Carrillo threw for 172 and three touchdowns and Phillip George had 72 yards receiving. On the ground Paris Miller chipped in 115 yards. Miller helped Christian's passing attack out by catching one ball for 46 yards.
Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Patriots feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Carrillo has thrown for 1421 yards and 16 touchdowns this season, while George has 37 catches for 495 yards. Rayvon Owens leads the league in rushing with 1195 yards.
Eric Perry's team moved up to 528 from 588 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Centurions were able to make move up by besting Clairemont 24-16.
