Make it nine blowout wins for the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat STEM School Highlands Ranch 62-22 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-11.
DSST: Conservatory Green's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sane Toure led the charge by scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Jhaden Seawood, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
DSST: Conservatory Green pushed their record up to 14-3 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
DSST: Conservatory Green will head out on the road to challenge the Ocelotls at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rocky Mountain Prep SMART will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 301st, while the Hornets are ranked 76th). As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, they will be playing at home against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Addenbrooke Classical Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
