Beachside has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Ponte Vedra Sharks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Beachside scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 99-63 win over Trinity Christian Academy at home. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, Ponte Vedra didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Panthers on Friday, but they still walked away with a 52-46 win.
David Sanchez Barrera was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Trace Westercamp, who scored ten points.
Beachside's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for Ponte Vedra, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
