 MORGAN CHRISTIAN and  CHARLIE BOWER made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  CHRISTIAN   pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  BOWER   tossed 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  hit in three consecutive appearances. At the plate,  CHRISTIAN  went 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI, while  BOWER  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.

West Bloomfield's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-21. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Ferndale,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-13.
