The Chapin Huskies will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Andress Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Chapin ended up a good deal behind the Tigers and lost 44-29.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Samantha Wise, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Rogers, who scored eight points.
Andress lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They took a serious blow against Burges, falling 73-27. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Andress in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost seven in a row.
Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Andress, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season.
Chapin didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Eagles in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 35-31 win. Does Chapin have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
