Porterville had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Monache with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 60-46. Porterville pushed the score to 51-31 by the end of the third, a deficit Monache cut but never quite recovered from.
Meanwhile, Sierra waltzed into their contest on Friday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They managed a 50-44 win over Fresno Christian.
Porterville's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Sierra, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-8.
